Natalie and her husband Ben live, work, and have raised a family in the Hood River Valley.   They are deeply invested in their community, and have always desired to use their skills through meaningful work to strengthen others. The economy of the Hood River Valley has shaped and honed their skills,  which lend themselves nicely to the needs of the businesses here. 

Natalie has worked in finance since the year 2000, beginning her career in Central Oregon in consumer banking. Early on, she joined the commercial banking team; specifically, loan processing and compliance.  Her role of credit analyst and systems trainer ignited a love for financial analysis and teaching.  After 5 years in commercial banking, Natalie transitioned to bookkeeping & accounting for small businesses.  This work has continued over the last two decades; in Central Oregon, and to the Hood River Valley nearly 15 years ago. Whether in managing her own small businesses with her husband along the way,  business advising and teaching with the Columbia Gorge Community College Small Business Development Center, or servicing her bookkeeping clients, Natalie is always working towards better business books. Her experience covers many areas of financial management, including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset, liability, and equity account management,  loan packaging, loan covenant compliance, project management and analysis, financial accounting, financial reporting, payroll, various tax form preparation and filing, foreign labor contract administration, various methods of cost accounting, price structuring, business financial performance analysis, financial position analysis, resource management, entity structuring, and the implementation of various accounting software products. 

In addition to the many years of experience Natalie brings, she is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is also completing her 

Management Accounting For Leaders certificate at Cornell University.
